What are the sub-genre's of Thriller films?

Thriller films are a selection of huge sub-genres, this means that when people say that they are going to watch a Action thriller film they are going to watch a sub-genre of Action thriller films because we don’t go to the cinema to just watch thriller films, we go to see the sub-genre which we like; for example for someone who doesn't like historical thriller but they might like Techno thriller but they are still thriller films.

This is going to help me with my planning of my film because i am able to look at the sub-genre's of Thrillers and see which sub-genre i can do because they have their own codes and conventions to each sub-genre. by taking apart the thriller genre and looking at the sub-genres it means that i can have a clear mind about which sub-genre i am going to chose and i can meet the requirements of that genre.
