Looking back on your pre-liminary task, What do you feel you have learnt in progression from it to the final product?

I have learnt a lot from the pre-liminary task to the final product, such as;

 I have learnt that a pan is never a good option to use when filming a sequence. such as in my preliminary task i have a pan to kick off the sequence but in my final product i never use a pan, this is because i have learnt that a pan is only as good as a still shot and a still shot is easier to use with the equipment we have.
I have learnt that match-on-actions are fabulous and make the sequence flow together so well that it is un-noticable to the viewer and they feel escaped from there seats.  such as in the preliminary task there is a match-on-action of the door being opened which i thought was amazing but in the final film there is a sequence of the character running up a tree with the branch braking then the character stumbles, this was out of the blue when we filmed this but we decided to improvise and so we used this as a match on action for our film.

I have also learnt that not too rely on people so much because in our preliminary task our friend Sam was with the school when we filmed this but shortly after that we got the news that he would be moving schools and so for our final film we did not have him as a actor for this so we learnt not to rely on people as much as possible.

Here we can see that we have improved because this is parrallel action happening here. In our first preliminary task we did not have this happening aswell as we have in our final film, this shows the improvement we have made and i think this parrallel action is a very good technique.
