We also use the conventions of a real media product because in other action thriller films there are chase scenes, guns, violence, mysterious things laying about, mysterious people, tension and bad guys. These are all the things you would expect to see in a actiom thriller film and these are the things that are in our film. so i think we have used the conventions to portray and action thriller film and made this our own.
The things we expect to see in a action thriller film are;
- Chase scenes.
- Violence.
- Mystery.
- Supspensing music
- Scary looking characters.
- Hero's and villins
- Red herrings
Chase scenes
In a action thriller you expect to see chase scenes between characters, the audience wants the supspense of who is going to get away or what is going to happen, what genius ways will the hero or villan escape the chasem, will anyone die. These are the things that goes through the minds of a person when they watch a good chase scene, our film does this because the main character is found looking at the area 51 package when the bad people find this, they shout "hey". The main character runs away and then the film breaks into a chase scene, the character jumps over trees and branches and even one branch breaks.
Our twist to the action thriller film is that the Sam character is all by himself, usually in action thriller films there are other people around who help the character but this Sam character is all by himself with no - one to help, plus you do not see his parents so you do not know if he has any or not to help him.
