Permissions for our film/ Copy Righting

In our film if we decided to have any music which is from any artist and has been produced by a record company then if we would like to use this then we have to ask the record company for permissions to sue this music in our film. In our film we have not decided to use any copyright music in our film so we will not provide evidence of us asking for music because we do not need this in our film. In our film our music is all from non-copyright music so we are welcome to use the music how we wish. The reason we have done this is because we may not get a reply from the record company and also we found the music which was good for our film on the non-copyright sound track so we thought this would be better to use then the more popular music.

By doing this i have learnt that in order to use any music which we hear all the time that we have to ask the record company for permission to use this music otherwise this could lead us to be fined or even prosecuted. So this is key to making a film in the future.
